MK Perker is signing his graphic novel "Cairo" with writer G. Willow Wilson at New York Comic Con on Friday from 5pm to 6pm and on Saturday from 12pm to 1pm at DC Comics booth.

CAIRO
is out!

Critically acclaimed graphic novel, Cairo, by M.K. Perker and G. Willow Wilson is out and available in every bookstore and comic book shops. You can also order it from amazon.com The interview on NPR with the writer G. Willow Wilson on Cairo is available as a pod-cast.

Perker recently had a 3-page story appeared in Fables#59, written by Bill Willingham

SI 49th ANNUAL SHOW
Perker will be on the jury of the SI 49th Annual Show in the sequential category.

THE MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ILLUSTRATION

Perker will be participating in a group show called "You Must Have Been A Beautiful Baby," curated by legendary Murray Tinkelman. The show will take place in The Museum of American Illustration at the Society of Illustrators, from September 6 to September 14, 2006. The SI called the show "Veritable Family Album of Contemporary American Illustrators."

SOCIETY OF ILLUSTRATORS 47
Short story 'Milton' was accepted to appear in the Society of Illustrators Annual 47. Book will be out in the fall of 2005.

MERIT AWARD AT THE OUR OWN SHOW
The Jury at the Society of Illustrators Our Own Show 16, selected Perker's illustration "The Illustrated Dictionary" as one of the three best entrees. Awards presentation will be held at the Museum of American Illustration at the Society of Illustrators on July 14, 2005.

SIGNING DAY
Perker is signing issue #7 of The Amazing Adventures of The Escapist with Michael Chabon, Eduardo Barreto, Paul Hornschemeir and Editor Diana Schutz at San Diego International Comic Convention on July 15, 2005, at 12:00 PM
